Eddie Hall, also known as Edward Stephen Hall, is an English television presenter and former strongman champion. He clinched the title of World’s Strongest Man in 2017 and has secured victories in various national competitions like UK’s Strongest Man, Britain’s Strongest Man, and England’s Strongest Man on multiple occasions.
Despite his immense strength, he found himself in pain after facing a leg kick from a UFC fighter, illustrating the impact of the skilled technique.
A leg kick from a UFC fighter causes Eddie Hall pain
Eddie Hall and Tom Aspinall crossed paths during professional MMA training. Tom Aspinall is a UFC Heavyweight division fighter, currently ranked #4 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
In a video, the World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, challenges heavyweight UFC fighter Tom Aspinall to kick him in the leg as hard as possible. However, Tom declines at first and instead asks a 9-year-old child to kick Hall in the leg first.
Eddie Hall initially doubted the child’s capabilities, but Tom assured him that if the kid kicked with correct form, it would be painful. The 9-year-old then kicked Hall, whose expression clearly showed that he was hurt by the child’s kick.
Eddie expressed his disbelief, saying, “I couldn’t imagine you doing that.” In response, Tom gave Eddie a pad to shield his leg. Tom’s first kick, delivered at 35% power, was already strong enough for Eddie to feel its impact. Subsequently, with a more forceful kick, Eddie experienced significant pain despite the 8-inch pad protecting his leg.
Both athletes were seen training together for an MMA session and shared the video on social media. Tom, the UFC heavyweight fighter, demonstrated his MMA skills to Eddie, making the training session enjoyable for both athletes.
