UFC Fight Night 217: How much can Sean Strickland make from his encounter with Nassourdine Imavov?

While it is quite impossible to provide a precise figure for the amount UFC fighters make in these events, we may draw some conclusions based on their prior earnings. Apparently, Strickland made $1,012,000 in UFC profits.

The Sports Daily further claims that the American received $141,000 for his fight against Jack Hermansson, including $65,000 in salary, $65,000 in victory bonuses, and $11,000 in fight-week incentives.

Additionally, Strickland reportedly earned $216,000 from his previous fight, which he won against Jared Cannonier in 2021. He received a basic salary of $200,000 from this. And since he was not awarded a victory bonus since he lost sponsorships covered the final $16,000.

Strickland may perhaps make close to $200,000 against Imavov if we use the same numbers and assume that he is still under the same contract. $65,000 is the entry fee, $65,000 is the victory bonus, $50,000 is the performance bonus, and $11,000 is the fight week incentive. So, at UFC Vegas 67, Strickland may earn up to $200,000 if he wins and receives either the fight of the night or any other prize.
