UFC: ex-fighter believes he will get banned for ‘anti-LGBTQ’ mindset

Regardless of how well-known he was in the WWE, we have seen that Hulk Hogan’s career revolved entirely around controversy over his opinions. Additionally, Andrew Tate, one of the most divisive individuals on the internet, is another name attached to contentious athletes. Similarly, Jake Shields, an ex-UFC champion, made a controversial statement about the LGBT community. Meanwhile, he feels he will soon be banned for it but will continue to speak up for what he believes in.

UFC: Jake Shields expects to be suspended due to his “anti-LGBTQ” attitude

To lay the groundwork, lately, Jake Shields posted a picture of a news article with the headline, “BBJ instructor introduces rainbow belt to show support for gay rights,” and captioned it, “I’m gonna start giving this to all my students who s**k.” Indeed, it was well controversial and for it he received some backlash for it.

Additionally, he has made similar references in several of his previous tweets. Meanwhile, Media Matters provided a list of the names of accounts that appear to be anti-LGBT and he shared a  snapshot of the list with his name on it. He now stated that he expects to suffer a social media ban as a result. The tweet is shown above.

He responded by saying he isn’t anti-LGBT and is only against brainwashing children. He also said he believes they are attempting to include pedophilia in the LGBTQ agenda, therefore he wouldn’t stop speaking up for what he believed in. Indeed, the issue is really quite sensitive and it will be interesting to see what happens next in the future.
