Meanwhile, Mitchell is looking to make a comeback from his first professional defeat, suffered in a second-round submission to Ilia Topuria at UFC 282 in December, which put an end to the 15-fight win streak of “Thug Nasty.”

Talking about Evloev he makes this match an intriguing one, as he is on 16 win streaks and looking to move up in the rankings. Evloev, meanwhile, aims to extend his win streak to six and make a statement against his highest-ranked opponent yet.

The changes to the UFC 288 card have strengthened an already exciting lineup. With bantamweight gold on the line in the main event and important featherweight bouts including Evloev vs. Mitchell, the card from top to bottom promises impactful fights that will shape the future of multiple divisions. UFC 288 goes down May 6 live from Newark, New Jersey.
