UFC recently disclosed that its president would make an important announcement and share it live on social media. Later, White went live on Instagram and announced several matchups that had already been confirmed.

However, White made a major announcement regarding UFC 287 at the end of the live, confirming a rematch between Pereira and Adesanya for the middleweight championship as well as the significant fights that will occur there.

He stated, “Alex Pereira vs Israel Adesanya in the rematch. The co-main event is Gilbert Burns vs the BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal, Kevin Holland vs Ponzinibbo, Rosas Jr vs Rodriguez, and the fight that should be an absolute war Font vs Yanez.”

Contrary to what Pereira had claimed, who had stated he would not face Adesanya and had suggested he may face Robert Whittaker. However, it appears that he decided to battle “The Last Stylebender” after significant discussion. Given that they have a history together, it is a match that everyone is interested in seeing

Additionally, about Masvidal, we finally get to know the big news after he hinted on social media that it would happen soon.
