Usman was just 56 seconds away from matching Anderson Silva’s 16-fight UFC winning streak and achieving a brand-new zenith as champion. Although it would be a big shock if Edwards defeated Usman again, it is a distinct possibility. Usman must now compete only to keep his title; if he loses, his path to the top will take a different turn.

Although Edwards (20-3) will start as an underdog on the fight night, he recently defeated Usman by spectacular knockout (20-2). With the most important fight of his career, he now seeks to extend his 11-bout winning streak. He will forever change the narrative if he defeats Usman twice; he will become renowned for his head kick and superiority over Usman.
