David Warner to snub BBL? Why the former Australia captain is likely to play UAE T20 League instead?

  • The Australia batter has not played BBL for seven years since last turning out in 2015.
  • The southpaw is also banned from leading any sides in the T20 competition due to CA imposing a leadership ban due to his involvement in sandpaper gate.
  • Things could be different in the UAE T20 league as the six franchises might be interested in giving a leadership role to Warner.
  • Also, the UAE T20 league offers more money than BBL. The southpaw might feel he needs to support the family.
  • Currently, CA have not given NOC to Warner to play UAE T20 League, but if they do, then soon a lot of Australians may follow Warner.
