Bob Arum opens up about the possibility of making Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua
Speaking to iD Boxing on YouTube, Arum spoke about a whole bunch of topics. At one point, Arum rubbished the rumors that the Usyk bout would fall through and Joshua would step in. He said, “Fury vs Usyk is not going to fall through, number one. Number two, I thought Joshua is scheduled to fight in April against some guy Franklin, alright.”
Despite this, Arum continued to explain that it could happen in the future. The promoted said, “Down the line, if Fury is successful and the best fight for him would be Anthony Joshua, and they don’t mess around like they did last time, I would certainly like to put that fight together, provided Joshua wins his fight in April. But again, we can’t have anybody messing around.”
