TUF 31: Team McGregor’s Nate Jennerman faces first-round loss against Team Chandler’s Roosevelt Roberts
The first episode of The Ultimate Fighter 31 has thrilled the fans with the ongoing drama since the start of the season. The latest episode of TUF 31 featured Team McGregor and Team Chandler facing off against each other and selecting their fighters for the Quater-Final fights. The first two lightweights to face each other were Nate Jennerman and Roosevelt Roberts.
Jennerman was McGregor’s second pick from the lightweight division while Roberts was Chandler’s third pick. Both men faced in the octagon but no one thought it would end in seconds. As soon as the fight started, Roosevelt “Predator” Roberts gave a dynamic start with left and ring punches eventually knocking out Nate Jennerman. The former UFC fighter earned his first win for Team Chandler with a first-round TKO to lead his team by 1-0. Following the fight, Robert jumped on the octagon and made a statement to Dana White. Moreover, Dana White was also pleased to watch the 28-year-old pick up his first win in the TUF 31.
This is the first blow for Conor McGregor as he lost the first fight in the Quater-Final fights.
