According to reports, Lionel Messi has chosen to sign with Inter Miami after Barcelona failed to secure a contract to bring the World Cup champion home.Earlier this week, Messi’s father acknowledged that his son preferred a return to Barcelona, but their dire financial condition ultimately prevented a contract from being finalised.
On June 30, Messi’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain will officially end, and the club has announced that he will leave. Since then, speculation over the 35-year-old’s upcoming transfer has increased as Barcelona officially increases their efforts to get him back to Camp Nou. Messi has recently come under intense pressure to sign with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, but he will now begin the next phase of his career in America.

Borussia Dortmund announced in a statement that it has reached an agreement to transfer England midfielder Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid for an initial sum of 103 million euros ($110.4 million). Based on Bellingham’s accomplishments and the level of sporting success Real achieves, the variable transfer compensation will not exceed about 30% of the initial amount, Dortmund said.
N’Golo Kante, a midfielder for Chelsea, has agreed to a two-year contract with Saudi Arabia’s top team, Al-Ittihad. The 32-year-old’s deal contains a one-year extension option. He won the 2018 World Cup with France.If all goes according to plan, Kante will play alongside fellow countryman Karim Benzema, who on Tuesday agreed to a three-year agreement with the Saudi team.
