Among the items sold were Neeraj Chopra’s javelin which helped him clinch gold, which raked in a whopping 1.5 crore bid. Hockey sticks, PV Sindhu’s racquet also received huge bids in an encouraging sign for sportspersons.

As per an India Today report, Neeraj Chopra’ javelin, which travelled the distance of 87.58m and helped him clinch gold, raked in a whopping bid of 1.5 crore during an e-auction. Chopra had gifted his fluorescent green Valhalla 800 Hard NXS javelin to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their breakfast post the Tokyo Olympics. The price was steep considering that one can purchase the same from online stores at approximately Rs 80,000 only. Meanwhile, the Javelin that brought a Gold Medal at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games for Sumit Antil with his autograph has received the highest bid of Rs 1,00,25,000.

CA Bhavani Devi. who became the first Indian fencer to participate in the Olympics, also saw her memorabilia fetch twice the amount it was listed for. Her ence with a red handle and signature along with wishes have been signed had a base price of Rs 60 lakh and the bidding for it at the e-auction closed at a high of Rs 1.25 crore. PV Sindhu’s racquet acquired bids on the e-auction site for hopping 80,00,000 lakh, while it costs only around Rs 25000 on online sites.
India’s winners from the Tokyo Olympics and the Paralympics presented 15 items to PM Narendra Modi as part of their sports kit. They were part of a cache of 1348 gifts and mementoes on sale in an online auction that started on September 17 under the aegis of the culture ministry, all of which were gifts received by PM Modi. It was the third round of gifts put on auction and the proceeds will go to the Namami Gange Mission.

The rakshak brand Hockey Stick with autographs of the Indian Hockey women’s team was also on the e-auction list. The blue coloured hockey stick included a logo named Rakshak written in white, and the model number is Rani 28, which directly points to captain Rani Rampal, and its highest quoted price is Rs 80,00,100 despite it costing just Rs 11,600 on online sites.
The Hockey stick with signatures of all team members of the Indian Men Hockey Team Tokyo Olympics 2020 has the highest quoted price of Rs 80,00,100. Lovlina Borgohain’s signed boxing gloves also fetched a bid of Rs 91,06,800.
