Notably, until mid-January, Arsenal held an eight-point lead over Man City. However, Pep Guardiola and Co started their unbeaten run and Arsenal’s defeats in between helped the side overtake the Gunners with three games to spare. The Cityzen have remained unbeaten in their last 11 matches in the league, while Arsenal struggled, managing to collect maximum points in only two of their past eight games.

Manchester City still has three matches remaining in their campaign. They will face Chelsea at the Etihad in their upcoming fixture on Sunday, followed by away matches against Brighton and Brentford next week. After the clash with Chelsea, former City goalkeeper Alex Williams, who has served the club for 33 years, will retire and have the honor of presenting the trophy to City captain Ilkay Gündogan.
