Novak Djokovic claims record eighth ITF World Champion title

Novak Djokovic showcased tennis dominance with victories in the Australian Open, Roland Garros, and the US Open, propelling him to a total of 24 Grand Slam titles. His remarkable 56-7 record at the ATP tour contributed significantly to his eighth ITF World Champion honour.

This historic win broke Steffi Graf’s previous record of seven awards, highlighting Djokovic’s unparalleled success in the sport. His journey as an ITF World Champion began in 2011, marking a turning point that disrupted the Nadal-Federer duopoly at the Majors. Subsequently, Djokovic claimed the title in 2012-2016, 2018, 2021, and finally claiming his record eighth in 2023.

Aryna Sabalenka emerged as a force to be reckoned with in women’s tennis.
