India’s Sumit Nagal to square off against Miomir Kecmanovic in Wimbledon main draw debut

Sumit Nagal will be the first Indian to appear in the main draw of men's singles at Wimbledon since Prajnesh Gunneswaran in 2019

Ace Inida tennis star Sumit Nagal will take on Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic in his maiden Wimbledon main draw. This marks the second straight Major draw that the star has been picked in. Nagal will be the first Indian to appear in the main draw of men’s singles since Prajnesh Gunneswaran in 2019.

Sumit Nagal is Wimbledon, Olympics bound

Nagal took to social media to announce his qualification to the Paris Olympics 2024. Since Leander Paes (1992–2000), Nagal, 26, is only the second Indian player to qualify for the singles event in back-to-back Summer Games editions.
