Are Sania-Shoaib divorced? Cryptic clues, unanswered questions after Malik’s 3rd marriage

Rumors of Malik and Mirza's separation have been swirling around for the last couple of years.

Earlier today, Shoaib Malik shared a bombshell post on his Instagram account, announcing his marriage to actress Sana Javed. The famed cricketer has been married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza for the last 14 years. But with Malik marrying 30-year-old Sana Javed, where does his relationship with Mirza stand?

The power couple has been said to have been rumored to be separated for the last few years. The tennis star gave everyone the ‘indirect’ status of their relationship a few days ago.

Will Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik get divorced?

Sania Mirza posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories, writing that “divorce is hard,” indicating what is about to come for her in the near future.

The tennis player wrote, “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely.”

Despite the power couple having a 5-year-old son, it seems like they have decided to go their separate ways. This new development in their relationship attests to them moving apart slowly but surely.

Another reason behind their divorce could be the distance between them, both physical and emotional. Although Sania Mirza retired last year, as a tennis player, she had to travel all over the world and barely get time to spend with Malik. Similarly, the cricketer is still active and plays in T20 leagues all over the world.

The duo have hardly been seen together in recent times, with the last one being his son’s birthday last year in October. Despite their differences, both have been present for their son but may have decided to call it quits on their marriage.
