T20 World Cup – South Africa WC Squad: Cricket South Africa announce Proteas squad for ICC T20 World Cup, No place for Faf du Plessis – Cricket South Africa has announced their squad for the ICC T20 World Cup but their was no place for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener Faf Du Plessis. The veteran opener was the highest scorer for CSK in Phase 1 of IPL. He recently scored a magnificent 100 in CPL but all that was not enough to convince the Proteas selectors.
Like Du Plessis, even IPL’s highest ever paid cricketer Chris Morris also could not find a place in the South African squad.
