The venue for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 has been shifted to the United Arab Emirates and Oman, with the tournament set to run from 17 October to 14 November.
T20 World Cup Prize Money
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the T20 World Cup champions. Out of the 16 participating nations, the winners will bag prize money of $1.6 million or ₹12.02 crore while the runners-up will get richer by $800,000 or ₹6.01 crore. It was a slight increase from WC 2016 when winners West Indies were awarded $1.2 million.
The two losing semi-finalists will be rewarded prize money of $400,000 or around ₹3 crore each. Overall, the ICC has announced a prize purse of $5.6 million (₹42 crore approximately).
