Stuart Broad gets guard of honour, standing ovation at last Test
As Stuart Broad walked out to bat one last time for England, he was greeted with strong cheering and a standing ovation from the fans in London. The Ben Stokes-led England side along with Pat Cummins-led Australia gave a guard of honour to Stuart Broad as he entered the field. The gesture from the fans and both sides are a proper send-off for a legend in the game.

Stuart Broad announces retirement
“It’s been a wonderful ride. It has been a huge privilege to wear the Nottinghamshire and the England badge as much as I have. And, I’m loving cricket as much as I ever have. It’s been such a wonderful series to be a part of. I’ve always wanted to finish at the top. And this series just feels like it’s been one of the most enjoyable and entertaining I’ve been a part of,” Stuart Broad said.
Stuart Broad has played 167 Test matches, 121 ODIs and 56 T20 Internationals, taking 845 wickets. Broad made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2007. In 167 matches, he has bagged 602 Test wickets. He can add to his tally and finish on a high as Australia will bat again in the 5th Tests.
AUS vs ENG 5th Ashes Test
England were bundled out for 395 runs shortly after the start of play on Day 4. Stuart Broad, who walked out with James Anderson for one last time, ended his career smashing a six off the final ball he faced.

Fighting to level the series, England now lead by 383 runs. The series currently stands 2-1, with the urn having already been retained by Australia.
