Samit Dravid (son of Rahul Dravid): At just 16 years of age, Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid has been under immense scrutiny to live up to the name. That he has already made a name for himself in the U-15 level. He shot to the limelight after hammering 681 runs in just five innings, including two double centuries. Playing for Mallya Aditi International School, his exploits in local BTR Shield inter-school league. Under his father’s guidance, he has done well and will be looking to make the most of the opportunities.

Arjun Tendulkar (son of Sachin Tendulkar): No one has been under immense scrutiny like Junior Tendulkar has. A bowling all-rounder, unlike his father, Arjun Tendulkar’s every performance has got immense media attention. His selection in Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy team last year raised eyebrows and so did his IPL auction pick by Mumbai Indians. Ranuka Jayasuriya (son of Sanath Jayasuriya): Son of Sri Lanka’s cricket legend and former captain Sanath Jayasuriya, Ranuka Jayasuriya has been under the limelight. But away from all the hullabaloo, he is training hard under his father’s guidance to make it big. He will be seen in action in the upcoming Under-15 Inter-District Youth Cricket Tournament by SLC in Sri Lanka.

Naren Muralitharan (son of Muttiah Muralitharan): Another star kid who is quietly preparing for the big things to come is Naren Muralitharan. Son of legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, Naren isn’t a spinner yet. At 14, he is training under his father’s tutelage to make it big and perhaps make his Test debut in future. He will also be seen in action in the Under-15 Inter-District Youth Cricket Tournament by SLC in Sri Lanka.
