Recently, Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, were seen at the Gateway of India in Mumbai. Despite his struggles in the Border-Gavaskar series against Australia, where he managed only 190 runs in nine innings in a series India lost 1-3, Kohli’s fan base remains as supportive as ever.
As Team India prepares for the upcoming white-ball series against England and the Champions Trophy 2025, Kohli is enjoying some quality time with his family in Mumbai. A video has gone viral on social media showing Kohli and Anushka at the Gateway of India, where a fan’s excited reaction to seeing Kohli became the highlight.

Visit to Vrindavan
Earlier, Kohli and Anushka, accompanied by their children, visited the well-known priest Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. Both Virat and Anushka are devout followers of Lord Krishna and are often seen participating in related events.
During their visit, Anushka shared with Maharaj a heartfelt experience from their previous visit. She expressed her gratitude and desire for blessings, saying, “The last time I came, I had a few questions in my heart… all I want now is your blessings.” Maharaj was touched by their devotion, commenting, “These two are very brave. To devote yourself to God after gaining such fame is quite difficult.”
Kohli’s cricket plans
Alongside Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja, Kohli announced his retirement from T20 cricket after India’s triumph at the T20 World Cup 2024. However, the three players will be featured in the ODIs against England and the highly-anticipated Champions Trophy 2024.
