Virat Kohli has arrived in Mumbai ahead of the three-match IND vs NZ Test series which will get underway from October 16

India cricket team star Virat Kohli has arrived in India ahead of the IND vs NZ Test series which will begin from October 16. The batting maestro landed in Mumbai from London with wife Anushka Sharma and his children. The former Indian skipper flew back to London following the conclusion of IND vs BAN series which Rohit Sharma and co clinched 2-0.

In a video shared widely on social media platforms, Virat Kohli is seen posing for the paparazzi. The star is also seen engaging in a conversation with someone among those present at the airport before he departs from the venue. Virat Kohli will be looking to find his golden touch in the upcoming series against New Zealand as India gear up for a tough season ahead.

Virat Kohli played his first Test series in 2024 against Bangladesh recently. He missed the IND vs ENG series earlier this year owing to personal reasons and the birth of his second child Akaay. While he was a part of the T20 World Cup winning team and announced his retirement following the campaign, he returned to the ODI squad for the series against Sri Lanka.

Virat Kohli looked slightly out of touch in the 1st Test in Chennai with scores of 1 & 16. But the former skipper could be cut some slack since he was playing his first Test of the year. He turned out to be better in the 2nd Test in Kanpur, with scores of 47 & 29. The former Indian skipper will be eyeing to convert these good starts into magnificent knocks, the exact kind of batting Team India will require when they travel to Down Under for IND vs AUS series in November.
