It was on 11th December 2017, when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married. It was an intimate affair in Italy. The functions and the wedding were attended by close friends and immediate family members. Post their wedding, they hosted grand wedding receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. In their Delhi reception, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present.
The Mumbai reception was attended by everyone in the sports and entertainment industry. In 2021, Virat and Anushka welcomed their first child and named her Vamika Kohli and in February 2024, the couple welcomed their second child and named him Akaay Kohli. They had shared the news on social media and left fans happy and joyous.
