Apart from playing for their country, sports celebrities are also running successful businesses that are flourishing.

Apart from focusing on sports and their fitness, the sports personalities have also put their money and effort in side businesses. Not just about their money, the businesses are flourishing like anything. Be it Indian sports personalities or International, everyone is focusing on their matches along with their side businesses.

From Virat Kohli’s clothing brand to his restaurant, the cricketer has his hands busy in many ventures. Let’s take a look at some of the players who have flourishing side businesses.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is the co-owner of the Indian Super League club FC Goa. His most successful business venture is his clothing line “Wrogn”. Kohli invested INR 90crores to launch Chisel Fitness, a fitness chain. He also has a chain of restaurants under the name of “One commune”. The chain is running successfully and fans can have his favorite cuisine.

Sachin Tendulkar  

Sachin Tendulkar is the owner of the company “100”. Not just that, as per reports, Sachin also owns 7.5 % of Musafir, a UAE-based tour and travel company. He also owns an 18% stake in Smaaash Entertainment. He didn’t stop here, the former cricketer owns a 28 percent stake in Universal Collectabilla, a company that specialises in celebrity memorabilia.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni

The former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement quite a few years back and is only playing for Chennai Super kings at IPL matches. Now, after cricket, Dhoni has a bunch of businesses to take care of. Dhoni and Abhishek Bachchan co-own ISL club Chennaiyin FC. Dhoni owns SEVEN and is a co-owner of Rhiti Group. He is also a shareholder in SportsFit World PVT LTD and Khatabook.

Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle is one of the most popular sports personalities and is famous for his gaming and off-field ventures. He owns the Triple Century 333 sports bar and he owns a restaurant in Jamaica. Gayle is also a global ambassador for the fashion brand Attitude.com. He has also made several technological investments.

Mahela Jayawardene

Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene co-owns the Ministry of Crab restaurant in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with fellow cricketer Kumar Sangakkara. Reportedly, he will also be opening a restaurant chain in Mumbai and will train the chefs in Colombo.
