Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, along with his family, paid a courtesy visit to President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. He was accompanied by his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, and daughter, Sara Tendulkar.
A video shared by ANI captured the moment as they walked through the lush green pathways of Rashtrapati Bhavan, where tulips were in full bloom. President Murmu’s warm reception made the occasion even more special for Tendulkar and his family.
During the visit, Sachin Tendulkar presented a signed Test jersey to President Murmu, who graciously accepted the gift and posed for a photograph with him, Anjali, and Sara. This visit marked Tendulkar’s first time as a personal guest of the President, although he has visited Rashtrapati Bhavan multiple times in the past to receive prestigious awards.
Additionally, Sachin Tendulkar attended the Vimarsh Shrinkhala event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where eminent personalities share their life journeys with the audience. Speaking at the event, Tendulkar highlighted the equalizing power of sports and its role in unifying society.

You might be in good form while someone else is not, or vice versa. As a team, you need to stick together through good and bad times. Trusting your partner is crucial,” Tendulkar said.
He spoke about understanding teammates’ different personalities to bring out the best in them.
“With Sehwag, he would often do the opposite of what I wanted. So if I wanted him to defend for a few overs, I would tell him, ‘Viru, go and start blasting the bowlers.’ He would then say, ‘No paaji, I think I should defend for four overs first and then attack.’ I had to say the opposite to get the best out of him, and I would smile, knowing I had achieved what I wanted,” Tendulkar recalled.
