On 31st January, MI Emirates secured a thrilling victory over Gulf Giants, winning by five wickets in the 26th match of the ILT20 at Dubai. Chasing a target of 174, MI Emirates reached 174/5 in 19.1 overs, thanks to a standout performance from Nicholas Pooran, who remained unbeaten with 58 runs off 37 balls, hitting six fours and three sixes. Pooran’s efforts earned him the Player of the Match award. Gulf Giants had earlier posted 173/6 in their 20 overs, led by a strong innings from captain James Vince, who scored 86 off 50 balls.
