He will begin his campaign in the tournament from the second round. Alcaraz’s first opponent in the tournament will either be Ilya Ivashka or Nuno Borges.
Fifth seed Frances Tiafoe is the next top seed in the quarter. The American will begin his campaign in the second round. After losing a chance to lift hat-trick of titles at the Monte Carlo Masters, Stefanos Tsitsipas is aiming to lift his first clay court title this season before the French Open. He is the second seed and he will face Pedro Cachin or Gijs Brouwer in the second round.
The next top seed in the quarter is eighth seed Alex de Minaur. Minaur suffered a second round defeat last week at the Monte Carlo. He is now likely to face Alexander Shevchenko in his first match at Barcelona. 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov is also in the quarter. He will face the winner between Albert Ramos Vinolas and Emilio Gomez.
