SL vs AFG Live Streaming: When & How to watch SriLanka vs Afghanistan, Asia Cup Super 4 match LIVE – Check out
SriLanka recorded their second-highest run chase when they beat Bangladesh in the previous game. It was a close game, and while Sri Lanka made some errors, it benefited more from Bangladesh’s mistakes. In the end, they were able to return home thanks to strong batting performances by Kusal Mendia and Dasun Shanaka. Additionally, Chamika Karunaratne’s all-round role should not be undervalued. He has so far made a contribution in both games.
During the group stage, Sri Lanka’s bowling attack suffered against Afghanistan as well as Bangladesh. The team’s reliance on Wanindu Hasaranga is apparent, but Maheesh Theekshana has the potential to be a significant wicket-taker as well.
Afghanistan had no trouble playing in Sharjah. In the group stage, their spinners swept over Bangladesh at this venue. The spinners will once again rule the game if the pitch is anything like what we saw in terms of run-scoring difficulty.
Afghanistan have so far used spinners Mujeeb ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, and Rashid Khan. In the Asia Cup, Mujeeb, who bowls during the powerplay, is only conceding 5 runs per over. He also has the most wickets for Afghanistan, with five. The most frugal bowler is Rashid Khan, while Mohammad Nabi has done a great job of not giving the opposite batters any freebies. Fazalhaq Farooqi’s ascent has also improved Afghanistan’s bowling attack.
