India Eyeing First Test Win in Dominica
It must be noted that team India is yet to win a test match at the Windsor Park, Dominica. The visitors have played only one Test match at the venue back in 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. That match ended in a draw as team India failed to chase down the target and settled with a draw.
Under the leadership of Rohit, the Indian contingent will be eyeing a perfect start in the new World Test Championship cycle. However, it may not come easy with the home team having a balanced pace attack.
Earlier in the day, Rohit and West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite met the Dominican Minister for Culture, Youth, Sports & Community Development, Hon. Gretta Roberts. “Captain of the @BCCI Test team, Rohit Sharma & WI Captain, Kraigg Brathwaite, take a moment with the Minister for Culture, Youth, Sports & Community Development, Hon. Gretta Roberts in Dominica. #WIvIND #WIHome,” Windies Cricket captioned the post.
