Initially it was revealed that the availability of Dhawan for the RCB clash will be determined by a late fitness test, some 24 hours prior to the start of the game. However, just a day before the match, the Punjab outfits took to social media to post a photo of Dhawan with the caption that the skipper has joined the practice.

Earlier, when quizzed on the injuries, a senior PBKS official said, “Nothing can be said now. There is still time for the next game. We will get an update from the physios 24 hours before the match.”

Punjab Kings had a night to remember in their previous game. PBKS emerged victorious after a hard fought win against Lucknow Super Giants. As for Dhawan, the PBKS skipper has been their outright performer of the tournament so far. Shikhar Dhawan is currently placed third on the list o the Oranage Cap.
