Invitations have been sent out to cricket pals, former teammates, poker buddies, media colleagues and mates from his beloved St Kilda AFL club.
Close friends will join Warne’s parents Keith and Brigette, brother Jason and his children, Brooke, Jackson and Summer at the gathering in Melbourne this weekend.
The much-loved spin bowling legend will then be honoured at a state memorial at the MCG on March 30, which will be attended by celebrity friends and at least 50,000 fans.

Other cricket stadiums across the country will showcase the event on big screens – in both Sydney and Adelaide.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, a friend of Warne’s, and Ed Sheeran are expected to send video messages to be broadcast on screen at the MCG.
