Umar Rasheed, the bowling coach at the Pakistan’s National High-Performance Center (NHPC), would fly to England this week to oversee the pacer’s recovery and bowling sessions. When Rasheed returned from Dubai, he had already applied for an England visa. He’ll probably receive the visa soon.
Shaheen has reportedly begun running and will begin bowling this week, according to the sources, who also stated that Rasheed will make preparations for the pacer’s practice. Along with Shaheen, the coach is also anticipated to travel to Australia and will probably join the sports staff for the T20 World Cup in October.
Earlier after former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi allegations, sources told Geo TV that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had admitted that Shaheen paid for the ticket from Dubai to London, adding that the pacer and the board have reached an understanding now that his travel and medical expenses for knee ligament injury will be reimbursed later.
