Shaheen Afridi Wedding: Shaheen’s wish to marry Afridi’s daughter gets fulfilled, Pacer set to host grand reception – Earlier, in an interview with a Pakistani news channel, Shaheen shared that it was his wish to marry Shahid’s daughter Ansha. “It was my wish, and Alhumdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty] it is fulfilled now,” a blushing Shaheen told the interviewer Sohail Warraich.
Last year, Shahid addressed reports talking about the union between the fast bowler and his daughter and tweeted, “Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch […] matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too.” He ended his tweet with prayers for Shaheen “for his continued success on and off the field”.
PSL 8: Shaheen fully fit, eyes PSL 8 for a grand comeback
After suffering from a knee injury during T20 World Cup 2022, Shaheen is fully fit and eyeing PSL 8 for a grand comeback. Shaheen revealed his disappointment about his injury. What motivated him to continue to do the hard work was his previous fiery spells.
“Often during the rehabilitation sessions, I used to say to myself this is enough, I cannot do this anymore. But then I used to watch my bowling on YouTube and see how well I had done and that motivated me and I told myself to push a little more…It is frustrating for a fast bowler to miss cricket because of an injury.”
