Sevilla vs Juventus: With a 1-1 tie in Turin last week, Sevilla will now host the Italians at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjua on Thursday. Sevilla took the lead 26 minutes into the match against Juventus during the semi-final first leg. However, even though they registered 12 more shots throughout the match, none of them went into the back of the net. Hence, the match remained 1-0 in their favour until the very last minute. In the 96th minute on the clock, Juventus took the opportunity perfectly when they got a final corner. Federico Gatti was standing at the most ideal position under the crossbar from where he headed home the equalizer with no time left for Los Rojiblancos to come back.

Sevilla had their La Liga fixture against Valladolid on Sunday. After coach Jose Luis Mendilibar took charge of the team, they have won 8 out of their last 12 matches. This means, they have no fear of slipping into relegation. They will rather look to end the season at the top half of the table. Hence, these La Liga matches are important for them as well. However, keeping tomorrow’s Europa fixture in mind, coach rested several key players, like En-Nesyri, Bryan Gil, Fernando, Acuna, Gudelj, Jesus Navas, and goalkeeper Bono. They will be expected to be included in the starting lineup.

Lucas Ocampos and Ivan Rakitic were two key players whose shots had to be kept away from going into the net by Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny in the first leg. However, Ocampos sustained a muscular injury near the half hour mark into the game and had to be taken off. He missed their La Liga clash on Sunday, but Sevilla have confirmed that he will be available for tomorrow’s match. Suso is another player who has come back after recovering from a hamstring issue. However, Sevilla will miss Marcao and Joan Jordan for the Europa League clash.

Sevilla predicted XI: Bounou; Navas, Gudelj, Bade, Acuna; Fernando, Rakitic; Ocampos, Lamela, Gil; En-Nesyri

Sevilla squad: #1 Dmitrovic, #13 Bono, #31 Alberto F; #2 Montiel, #3 Alex Telles, #4 Rekik, #16 Jesus Nevas, #19 Acuna, #44 Bade, #38 Hormigo; #7 Suso, #24 Papu Gomez, #55 Ocampos, #6 Gudelj, #43 Manu Bueno, #20 Fernando, #10 Rakitic, #17 Lamela, #21 Oliver T; #12 Rafa Mir, #15 En-Nesyri, #25 Bryan Gil
