Secret agent CR7! Cristiano Ronaldo desperate to get ex-Man United teammate to Saudi

Ronaldo has enjoyed a strong start to the season, scoring 10 goals. But that has not stopped him from having a say in the club's transfer business.

Despite leaving Manchester United in a bitter dispute last year, Cristiano Ronaldo is now reportedly trying to persuade one of his former teammates to join him at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Ever since CR7 signed for Al Nassr, several big names have moved to the Saudi club. Famous footballers including Sadio Mane, Laporte, Brozovic, Alex Telles, are all playing for last season’s Saudi Pro League runners up Al Nassr.

Ronaldo isn’t done yet. CR7 is trying to get one of his former Man United teammates to sign for his club in the Middle East. With plenty of free agents still out there in Europe, he’s reportedly determined to land Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea.

It seems like Cristiano Ronaldo is getting involved in the chase for David de Gea. He’s still without a team after leaving Manchester United last summer. 90min reports that Ronaldo is going out of his ways to help Al Nassr’s efforts to get the Spaniard.

After being offered a new contract with Manchester United, the club retracted the offer and forced the Spaniard to leave the club as a free agent.

Bayern and Real Madrid both tried to sign the Spanish goalkeeper in the summer. Both the clubs reportedly couldn’t come to an agreement and he’s still without a club.

While Cristiano Ronaldo is pushing to get De Gea to join him at Al Nassr, the Spanish goalkeeper and his wife would rather stay in Spain and join a La Liga club. Fichajes have reported that he’s been linked with Real Betis and Valencia in recent months.
