Marlon Vera, a candidate for the upcoming 135-pound belt in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has criticised the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for being “so easy to beat” for cheaters with the money to buy top-shelf medicines.

The kind that can quickly transform lightweights into heavyweights. Despite stating that he would “rather die before I cheat,” “Chito” Vera went on to illustrate how simple it would be to do so.

On the same card that Sean O’Malley won the UFC bantamweight championship, Vera, 30, defeated Pedro Munhoz. Despite the fact that there are more eligible opponents, the champion’s strong drive for it and his history with O’Malley indicates he is likely to receive the next championship chance.

Vera, who has a record of 21-8-1 overall, is undoubtedly the most lucrative choice for the UFC despite being ranked #6 in the bantamweight division at the moment.

With a record of 17-1 (1 NC), the champion Sean O’Malley’s only loss came in a 2020 TKO against Vera.

Vera told Bradley Martyn during the podcast, “It’s too f—ked up. I think there are a lot of people taking (PEDs) because it’s so easy to beat USADA, You need like 20 grand. Call a good doctor, boom.”

Vera further explained “A good doctor will give you good products. He will tell you how to clean yourself. USADA only comes 6am to 6pm. I would love it if USADA knock on your door at 4am, 10pm, 3pm — random, because they have this window. So, I can go to the f—king mountains in Ecuador and tell them ‘I’m hunting,’ and I’ll be doing EPO and s***. By the time I come back there’s nothing in me.”
