Pokemon GO Raid Boss Timings and How to catch them

5-Star Raid Bosses appear during the Raid Hour which takes place every Wednesday starting from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. During this time, all the Pokemon gyms that have Raids in them will be 5-Star. Trainers should prepare well for this as they have a chance of capturing a Legendary pokemon here.

After defeating the Raid Boss, trainers will be given a chance to capture it. They will be provided with a set number of Premier Balls to use. Still, it is not guaranteed that they will be able to catch it, especially if it’s a Legendary Pokemon.

Trainers can increase the number of Premier Balls they get by:

  1. Dealing a high amount of damage to the Raid boss single-handedly or in a team.
  2. Controlling the gym that the Raid takes place in.
  3. Participating in Raids with friends.

Trainers can also use Razz Berries, or even better Golden Razz Berries, to help catch Raid bosses. Getting in excellent throws or spinning curveballs will also increase the chances.

Pokemon GO Raid Passes : Pokemon GO Raid Bosses

If trainers want to participate in Raid Boss battles, they will need a Raid Pass. Here are a few ways that trainers can get them.

  1. By spinning the Photo Disc at any Pokemon gym, trainers can get one Raid Pass each day.
  2. Trainers can also purchase a Premium Raid Pass from the Shop.
  3. Even Remote Raid Passes are available in Pokemon GO. These are ideal for trainers who can’t leave the house. These Remote Raid Passes allow the trainers to join any Raid Battle that is happening nearby or tappable from the Map View. Remote Raid Passes can be bought from the Shop, or received as free gifts every now and then.

These are all the things that you should know to start your preparation for the Pokemon GO Raid Bosses in December 2021.
