Sawai Mansingh Stadium Pitch Report
The Rajasthan Royals have been used the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur as their home in the past and has hosted 47 IPL matches to date. The RR vs LSG match will be the first match at the venue this season and also Rajasthan’s return to the stadium for the first time since 2019.
The average 1st innings total here has been 157 runs and the stats heavily favor the side batting second. Sides batting first have won 15 out of the 47 matches played here.
The pitch has been historically bowler friendly for both pace and spin and is often remembered as the place where Sohail Tanvir took 6/14 in his four overs.
The pitch is so good for the bowler’s that no team has ever breached the 200 run mark here and only century has been made here.
The team that will win the toss will chose to bat second and fans can expect a tight match with great bowling performances.
