Saudi Arabia GP: Free Practice 3 session – The Third Free Practice Session ends as Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc tops all the three Free Practice Sessions. Charles Leclerc goes fastest after setting a lap time of 1m29.735s. Max Verstappen is second after setting a lap time of 1m29.768. Carlos Sainz is in the fourth position followed by Valtteri Bottas in the fifth. Esteban Ocon takes the sixth position with Pierre Gasly taking the seventh position. Kevin Magnussen takes the eighth position with Fernando Alonso taking the ninth spot. Yuki Tsunoda takes the tenth spot after the FP3 session.

Lewis Hamilton finished in the eleventh spot followed by Mick Schumacher in the twelfth position. Guanyu Zhou finished thirteenth and George Russell took the fourteenth position. Lance Stroll managed the fifteenth position with Daniel Ricciardo finishing at sixteenth. Alex Albon managed to finish seventeenth followed by Nico Hulkenberg in the eighteenth spot. Lando Norris managed the nineteenth position with Nicholas Latifi finishing last in the twentieth position.

Saudi Arabia GP: When was the track built?

Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a temporary street circuit that has some permanent sections in it. It is located on a Corniche, 30km coastal resort area of the ancient Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah. Meanwhile, it is designed by the Tilke company, which used Google Earth for their investigation into a potential layout.

Ross Brawn said, “What we want to see is a race circuit. We don’t want Mickey Mouse circuits. We don’t want those old classic street circuits with 90-degree turns. We want fast sweeping circuits, circuits that are going to challenge the drivers. And they are going to love it.”
