SANIA MIRZA Retires: Star Indian tennis player, Sania Mirza, announced her retirement from professional tennis following her first-round loss in the WTA Dubai Duty Free Championship. After her loss, RCB mentor Sania Mirza took to social media to thank her partners and others from her sports community for their love and encouragement throughout her career. In her post, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunities and experiences she had gained through tennis and acknowledged the challenges that she had faced. India Tennis ace Sania Mirza’s professional Tennis career has come to an end after a loss in Dubai Open. Sania Mirza playing alongside Madison Keys in Women’s Doubles suffered a 6-4, 6-0 loss against Russia’s Lidmilla Samsonova and Veronika Kudermetova in the first round of the WTA 1000 event on February 21.

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza recently took to Instagram to express her gratitude towards her tennis partner and sports community after announcing her last game in Dubai. In her Instagram Story, Mirza shared several pictures with her former doubles partner and expressed her gratitude towards them.

American Tennis player Coco Gauff posted an Instagram story for Sania Mirza, in which she wrote, “amazing career wishing you all the best for this next chapter. In a reply to her story, Sania wrote with heart emoji: “Thanks coco.. shine on.”

Mirza also thanked another American Tennis player Desirae Krawczyk and the Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmyla Kichenok. The 36-year-old replied to Krawczyk and wrote, “Thanks Des will miss our battles.” For Kichenok she wrote with heart emoji, “Lydia.”

Mirza, who turned 36 in November, had a highly successful career in tennis. She won six Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed doubles, as well as numerous other titles on the WTA tour. She also reached a career-high singles ranking of 27 in 2007, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve that feat.

As she embarks on the next phase of her life, Mirza can look back on a career full of achievements and memories. And her message of gratitude to her tennis partner and supporters is a testament to the humility and grace that have characterized her throughout her career.
