Sakshi Dhoni says she knows ‘bad words’ in Tamil; WATCH how MSD reacts

Dhoni is now embarking on a new innings in the Tamil film industry. He and Sakshi Dhoni established Dhoni Production in 2019, and LGM marks their debut creation.

During an event at the Leela Palace in Chennai, MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi launched the trailer and audio of their debut Tamil production venture, Let’s Get Married (LGM), earlier this week. The highlight of the event was when Sakshi was playfully asked by the host to showcase her knowledge of the Tamil language. To everyone’s delight, Sakshi confidently pronounced words like “Seri” (okay) and “Poda” (go away) and received applause from the audience. Adding a humorous touch, she also mentioned that she knows some “Tamil bad words,” leaving everyone, including Dhoni, in splits.

Later, Dhoni took the stage to deliver a speech, where he addressed Sakshi’s statement and clarified that he never taught her any Tamil profanities. A clip of this moment was shared on Twitter by a fan page dedicated to the Chennai Super Kings captain, with users admiring the couple’s bond.

Dhoni holds a special place in the hearts of Chennai cricket fans due to his longstanding association with the city’s IPL franchise, CSK. Under his captaincy, CSK has emerged as one of the dominant forces in the franchise tournament, having reached the IPL finals 10 times and clinching the trophy five times.

After making history with CSK in the IPL 2023, Dhoni is now embarking on a new innings in the Tamil film industry. He and Sakshi Dhoni established Dhoni Production in 2019, and LGM marks their debut creation. The concept and idea for LGM originate from Sakshi, who envisions it as a movie that can be enjoyed by every family member.

Directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who also serves as the film’s music composer, LGM features several renowned actors from the Tamil industry. Harish Kalyan and Ivana take on the lead roles, while Nadhiya portrays a motherly character. Notable actors like Yogi Babu and Mirchi Vijay appear in supporting roles. Currently in the post-production phase, LGM is expected to hit the silver screens later this year or in early 2024.
