The Sunrisers captain rose to the occasion and led the Eastern Cape team to 213/5 in the second SA20 semi-final at Centurion with a brilliant 100 off only 58 balls.
The Sunrisers were forced to 13/2 after losing both of their openers, Temba Bavuma and Adam Rossington, to Lizaad Williams (4/41). Markram showed excellent composure at this time.
