SA vs WI 2nd Test, Day 4 Highlights: South Africa has handed West Indies a serious hammering by 284 runs on Day 4 of the Johannesburg Test. The Proteas set West Indies an improbable 390 runs to win at the Wanderers. However, in response West Indies was bundled out for just 106 runs in their second innings and with it lost the Test by a massive margin. With the loss, South Africa also completed a 2-0 whitewash over West Indies and took the series 2-0. In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj took two wickets apiece. Simon Harmer was the pick of the bowlers and bagged three wickets. South Africa’s second innings has ended on 321 at the start of Day 4 in Johannesburg. Skipper Temba Bavuma top scored with 172 runs in the second innings. Bavuma’s innings helped Proteas set a target of 390 runs for the tourists. West Indies made a strong start on Day 3 by picking up five wickets thanks largely to pacer Kyle Mayers who removed Dean Elgar and Tony de Zorzi in the first 30 minutes.  However the intensity of the West Indies bowlers went missing in the second half of the match allowing the home side to take control. Bavuma and Mulder added misery with 103 runs stand . South Africa also had a 71 run partnership with Simon Harmer for the 7th wicket. 

West Indies were bundled out for 251 runs in 1st innings. Hence, giving a decent amount of lead to the home side. On Day 1, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bat first. South Africa had made 320 runs in their first innings.
