Quite famous on social media, Sara Tendulkar on Thursday revealed that she was amongst the many glued to their TVs watching Sachin Tendulkar bat. A huge fan of her father, Sara watched the RSWS semi-final from London despite the time difference. She also put a small caption, writing: ‘Been a while’. Unfortunately, Sachin could not do much with the bat in his short stay at the crease. He scored just 10 off balls that included 2 fours.

Despite Sachin’s lack of runs, India Legends managed to seal victory thanks to the efforts of Naman Ojha and Irfan Pathan. Naman Ojha (90) and Irfan Pathan with 12-ball 39 were the architects of the Indian victory. Pathan smoked four massive sixes to help his team chase down a stiff target of 172. Naman Ojha remained unbeaten on 90 from 62 deliveries.

Earlier, Australia had managed to put on 171 with some lusty blows from Cameron White and Brad Haddin helping them to a competitive total. The match was pushed into a reserve day after incessant rains halted the Australia innings on Wednesday.  India will now await the winner of the 2nd Semifinal between Sri Lanka-L vs WestIndies-L scheduled for Friday.
