Cristiano Ronaldo had signed for Saudi club Al Nassr as a free agent after failing to find suitors in Europe. He is yet to make his debut since he was serving two match suspension handed by the English FA.

He was serving suspension for smashing an Everton fan’s phone last April. The 37-year- old is expected to make his debut in Saudi’s Pro League against Ettifaq on January 22. The debut comes , three days after his participation in the all-star game against PSG. The French champions are expected to depart France on January 17 for Doha, Qatar, and then fly to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the friendly encounter.

Saudi Clubs looking to sign Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is currently in the final year of his PSG contract with no news about his contract extension. If reports are to be believed, a couple of clubs from Saudi Arabia are looking to make Lionel Messi the richest football player ever. As per the report Saudi club Al-Hilal (Riyadh) and Al-Itihad (Jeddah) are looking to offer 350 million euros per season to the World Cup winner. The biggest question is whether the Argentine superstar will take up the lucrative offer just like how Ronaldo did.
