Ronaldo is now the leading scorer in the history of men’s international football with 122 goals for Portugal at the senior level. In addition, he became the most-capped men’s footballer of all time on Thursday night during Portugal’s 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein.
Ronaldo is on 198 international appearances in the international arena. CR7 is a stone’s throw away from becoming the first player to breach the 200 international caps mark when Portugal takes on Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland in their next two Euro 2024 qualifiers. After his displays in these two games, it is safe to say that Ronaldo is quite a far way away from retiring from the international arena.
