Rohit Sharma stalls Team India! WATCH skipper forgets his passport in hotel

Rohit Sharma forgot his passport in his hotel room, causing embarrassment. The team playfully teased him before a staff member returned his passport.

Following their 8th Asia Cup title win in Sri Lanka, the Indian team wasted no time in departing from the island nation on Sunday night. They are now gearing up to face-off Australia in a three-match ODI series in India this week. Notably, key players such as Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, as well as skipper Rohit Sharma, were among those who embarked on the flight on Sunday. However, in a comical turn of events, Rohit Sharma left his passport behind in his hotel room before heading to the airport.

Rohit Sharma, after checking out of the hotel and getting on the team bus, realized that he had left his passport in his hotel room. A video capturing this moment has gone viral on the internet, showing Rohit with an embarrassed expression upon discovering his mistake.

When the rest of the team on the bus found out about Rohit’s passport mishap, they playfully cheered and teased the Indian captain, adding to his embarrassment. Rohit ended up being the last person to board the team bus, and a member of the support staff handed him his passport before the bus finally departed.
