Rohit Sharma Press Conference: IND vs AUS Indore Test – India captain Rohit Sharma fired shots even after losing the Indore Test in 7 sessions. For a third Test in a row, match ended in three days. At the post-match press conference on Friday, Rohit took a dig at a journalist when he asked about matches ending in 3 days while a Test should last 5 days. Rohit fired back saying people complained about boring Tests in Pakistan, so India Cricket Team is making things interesting in India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. “People have to play well for the game to last five days. Games don’t last 5 days even outside India. In South Africa, the game yesterday got over in 3 days. In Pakistan, people were saying it’s so boring, so we are making things interesting,” Rohit Sharma said.

With half of the team returned home with injuries and other reasons and down 0-2, Australia roared back. Nathan Lyon was the architect with 11 wickets in the match. But Matt Kuhnemann, Usman Khawaja and Travis Head also delivered sucker punch to outplay India in just 7 sessions, clinching a famous 9-wicket win.
“We didn’t bat well in the 1st innings. No matter what the pitches are, need to come out and follow the plans. Got to be brave on these pitches. We allowed their bowlers to hit the same spot. Need to go back and see what worked in first two Tests,” Rohit said.
