Rishabh Pant Health Update: Indian cricket fans can breathe a sigh of relief as their star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant continues to make a remarkable recovery from the severe car crash he suffered in December 2022. Since his discharge from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in January, Pant has been updating fans on social media about his recovery process following the accident. Pant had been one of the key members of the Indian team across all formats before the horrible car crash on December 30. The wicketkeeper-batter was traveling to his hometown when his car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. After suffering multiple injuries all over his body, Pant underwent treatment at a nearby hospital before being shifted to a private hospital in Dehradun. In January, he was airlifted to Mumbai, where he was further treated at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Since then, Pant has been undergoing physiotherapy sessions and was seen using crutches for support during his few appearances in Delhi Capitals’ matches.
Earlier, A video of Pant playing table tennis at the NCA in Bengaluru went viral on social media.
Notably, David Warner is leading the Capitals in IPL 2023 in Pant’s absence. The wicketkeeper is set to miss a majority of the cricket action in 2023, including the ODI World Cup scheduled to be played in October-November at home.
