Real Madrid make Kai Havertz U-turn after Chelsea’s HIGH asking price

Real Madrid is likely to pull out from Kai Havertz race due to the high asking price money from Chelsea. PSG and Bayern can push for the German in summer.

Havertz Transfer: Real Madrid has reportedly backed away from signing Chelsea star Kai Havertz this summer. Earlier, Madrid had made their point clear in pursuit of the German international.

Carlo Ancelotti is looking to fill the vacant spots of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio. The 23-year-old can solve the problem for Real Madrid. However, reports claim that the Blues wants to keep their player for one more season but if they sell him, they would opt for the right price.

Chelsea reportedly wants to cover the amount (in excess of £70m) they invested in Havertz when they signed him in 2020. Sources are saying that Spanish giants have backed away from the negotiating table as things stand.

Los Blancos will not give the asking price of the player. Havertz’s contract will expire in two years and Real Madrid are keen to offer him an amount that is less than Chelsea’s demand. Despite this, the 23-year-old will still leave Stamford Bridge.

Bayern Munich is also looking to sign the former Bundesliga player as a potential replacement for veteran Thomas Muller. Thomas Tuchel can push for the Chelsea man in the summer window. PSG are also in the race to find him an ideal replacement for Messi.
