Real Madrid Transfer: Real Madrid may be into Copa Del Rey final and Champions League quarter-final, but President Florentino Perez is not happy. He wants the squad to be better and he is now looking to bring four Chelsea players to Spain. As per reports, Perez has targeted Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Reece James, and Mateo Kovacic. He could be making efforts to bring these players before the start of the season. Follow La Liga LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

As per reports, Real Madrid could be offering over €100 million for Chelsea right-back Reece James. While Mason Mount and Ruber Loftus Cheek could come a little cheaper for the Spanish side. Mateo Kovacic moved from Real Madrid to Chelsea in 2018 on a 1-year loan. Chelsea signed the player on a permanent contract of five years. However, Perez is thinking of bringing the player back to Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea are not only having a nightmare season but they also have been handed a huge debt. They have blamed their former owner Roman Abramovich for their debt. They will still have to manage their finances and they now have a bloated squad of 31 players. Hence, they could sell off a large number of players this summer. This gives Perez and Co. enough chance to acquire all their targets.

Chelsea is facing Real Madrid on Tuesday evening for the Champions League quarter-final second-leg match. As per the expectations of many, they went 2-0 down in the first leg. As per Chelsea’s calibre, turning over that lead would’ve been easy, but they have not been able to revive their form even after changing managers twice in one season. Hence, the odds are not in their favour. However, hopefully, the match is not the only thing that’s on the line for Chelsea as Florentino Perez plans to bring four of their players.

Mason Mount has been an important part of the Chelsea squad for quite some time now. He has suffered some injuries which have left him away from the field for a while. However, Chelsea is still trying to sign a new deal with the player, but in vain. Hence, many clubs have also been trying to approach and sign the English attacking midfielder.

Mateo Kovacic is another player whose contract ends by the end of the 2024 season. Chelsea have not been able to sign a new contract with the Croatian as well. Real Madrid is interested to bring him back to Spain, but clubs, like Manchester United, are also in the race to sign the player as an alternative to Frenkie de Jong who has denied offers of a move to Old Trafford.

Reece James has been Real Madrid’s main target and reportedly, they are willing to pay a huge amount to make that reality. Real Madrid are planning to bring in the English star as a replacement for Dani Carvajal who turned 31 years of age a few months ago. Ruben Loftus Cheek has not appeared in many matches for Real Madrid and as per reports, Real Madrid is planning to keep him as a second-choice player as well.
